ABOUT THE J TEAM
The J Team, newly established in July 2009, took over the DMC function developed over the past 5 years by Medetours Co. Ltd, which was part of the First Choice Meetings & Incentives Division from 2004-2008, and thereafter a part of TUI Travel. Consisting of the same staff, The J Team offers a unique blend of the best of Japanese friendly service and attention to detail, provided by a vibrant and experienced staff of Japanese nationals, with the objective creativity of their British MD Geraint Holt, a resident of Japan for over 20 years whose relationship with the country dates back to Cambridge Unviversity in the early 80s, and whose travel career started in Kuoni UK.
Focusing purely on Inbound Travel, The J Team aim to build on a very strong reputation for MICE-handling developed in the Australian and European markets over the past 5 years, by redefining DMC services in Japan for Incentive, Event, Meeting and Leisure Travel, and raising awareness of the wonderful destination and culture that is Japan as widely as possible across the professional travel industry.
