• Distribution of Lanka World ‘Welcome Pack’ to all clients upon arrival
• Lanka World representatives will maintain regular contact with
clients and offer assistance as necessary.
• Lanka World will offer a dedicated customer assistance telephone
number with competent English speaking staff to be available during
normal hours.
• 24 hotline telephone number will be provided and mentioned in the
welcome kit to all clients.
• Visits from Lanka World representatives at clients request to provide
emergency assistance (including hospital visits) if necessary.
Transportation:
• Transport, in the form of road or water transport will be operated by
licensed drivers/operators, in accordance with general safety
standards in force.
• Transportation will be in coach / minibus / car with English speaking
guide* and qualified driver. * guide in the vehicle for transfers, as per
our contract details.
• Lanka World will provide transportation, which meets general
safety standards, for all your clients and their luggage. Vehicles
will be maintained strictly in accordance with manufacturers
specifications and kept in quality state of cleanliness during all
services.
• All Lanka World vehicles are licensed and comprehensively insured
and equipped with seat belts for all passengers and comply with all
local road traffic enactments.
• All water transport will be of a similar good quality and
lifejackets will be provided to all clients.
• Lanka World will schedule all arrival / departure vehicles at suitable
times for successful operation.
DESTINATION OVERVIEW
The small island of Sri Lanka is sutuated in the Indian Ocean off the southeastern shores of India; t is known by many names including Serendib, Ceylon, Teardrop of India, Resplendent Isle, Island of Dharma or the Pearl of the Orient (all of which describe the beauty of the country). In Sri Lanka you can visit the islands and beaches, go to the hills that are surrounded by tea plantations and ancient cities. This is also the place to enjoy discovering birds and wild animals including elephants or leopards.
The Island’s commercial capital is Colombo, a colorful and crazy city with many interesting tourist attractions.
