Founded in 1991, Bhutan Travel Bureau (BTB) is one of Bhutan’s largest inbound and pioneer tour operators. Specializing in the selling of independent and group packages to Bhutan, BTB is a highly proactive organization with a view to staying ahead of an increasingly competitive Bhutanese tourism industry. BTB also incorporates a Travel Agency / Ticketing Unit that provides high quality and reliable outbound travel services catering largely to Governmental and Business travelers.
BTB is managed by Mr. Samdrup Norbu (Managing Director), Mr. Tshering Tashi (Executive Director), Mr. L.B. Gurung (Agency General Manager) and Mr. Chorten Namgay (Operations Manager). They are assisted by a large team of dedicated and energetic professionals with years of accumulated involvement in Bhutan travel and tourism. (able to seat 16-20 ppl) and luxury Toyota Land Cruiser Prado
vehicles to ensure comfort and reliability for clients
• Exclusive use of CIP/VIP lounge and express processing at
Paro International Airport
• Prioritization on quality communication with all clients and agents
regardless of their size
• Supply of color booklet to clients detailing an overview of
Bhutanese history and culture, as well as festival guides
• Strong relationships with carefully selected hotels and guesthouses
in all districts (Currently priority agency for the exclusive BTB’s
own Bhutan Suites in Thimphu; Jumolhari Hotel in Thimphu &
Tenzinling Resort in Paro)
